Day 20: Donate $26 on January 26th and urge others to do the same.
It's less than dinner for two at Applebee's; it's less than a movie including popcorn and a drink; it's less than most tanks of gas. $26 won't make a huge dent in your wallet, but if enough people donate, it could make a significant difference in the lives of every Kawasaki Disease sufferer.

There are many different kinds of KD research going on around the world right now. Some of the most important research happening at the moment has to do with developing a diagnostic test. Much of this research depends on donations from the general public. Here are just some of the places you can look into to see if you might want to donate money to their cause.
Foundations:
Kawasaki Disease Foundation
Kawasaki Disease Foundation - Australia
Kawasaki Disease Foundation - India
Kawasaki Kids Foundation
Busey Foundation
The Vasculitis Foundation
Vasculitis Foundation Canada
Crowdrise Fundraisers:
Sarah Chalke for Kawasaki Disease Foundation
Brandon Watson for the Busey Foundation
Hospitals:
Kawasaki Disease Program and Clinic at Rady's Children's Hospital, San Diego
Kawasaki Disease Program Seattle Children's Hospital
Kawasaki Disease Program Boston Children's Hospital
Kawasaki Disease Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Columbus
Kawasaki Disease Program Children's Hospital, Denver
LaBatt Family Heart Centre, SickKids Hospital, Toronto
Kawasaki Disease Program at Children's Hospital of Chicago
You can, of course, check out your local hospital (or the hospital that treated your child for KD) to see if anyone there is conducting research on KD. Have you donated to KD research? Where? Come back tomorrow for day 21 of 26 days of Kawasaki Disease.
